Once a box factory serving Sydney's industrial inner-city, this home carries a century of history in its bones, brickwork, beams left honest, and a new life built gently around them.
Original timber beams stretch across the ceiling, their weathered grain a quiet record of the building's working past, while restored brickwork holds the warmth and texture of a hundred years. Against this, a soft green, Scandi-inflected kitchen feels almost like a considered contrast, pale timber and muted sage cabinetry bringing a calm, contemporary lightness to a space built for permanence. Venetian plaster walls add a hand-finished softness throughout, catching light in shifting, cloud-like waves.
Every room holds this same conversation between old and new: leather and brass sit easily beside raw brick, while soft linens and warm timber joinery bring the industrial shell back down to a human scale. It's a home that doesn't erase its past, it builds a life on top of it.
